POP spokesman Baldev Singh gave an address at the 41st Salana Barsi Samagam of Sant Isher Singh Ji Maharaj Rara Sahib which was held on the 19th to 21st August.

People Over Profit (POP) aims to be a new airline with a unique way of doing business, which is built upon a very simple premise – we call it a ‘caring capitalist’ model. As well as wanting to provide non-stop flights between the UK and India’s secondary cities of Amritsar and Ahmedabad, POP will give 51% of its net profits to charities working in the communities it serves in both countries. POP’s charitable-giving will help orphanages and children, provide education, and assist the hungry, homeless, destitute, disabled and elderly in need – along with the physical environment.
